FLINT, Mich. – Isaac Ratcliffe scored a hat trick and added an assist as the Guelph Storm routed the Flint Firebirds 8-1 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Nick Suzuki had two goals and three assists for the Storm (32-16-10) with Cedric Ralph, Sean Durzi, and Keegan Stevenson rounding out the attack.

Jake Durham scored a power-play goal for Flint (11-44-5).

Anthony Popovich made 36 saves for the win in net. Emanuel Vella turned away 22-of-25 shots in 38:01 for the Firebirds before giving way to Luke Cavallin, who made 11 saves.

Guelph was scoreless on its lone power play and the Firebirds went 1 for 3 with the man advantage.

SPIRIT 6 BULLDOGS 3

HAMILTON — Cole Perfetti had two goals and an assist as Saginaw got past the Bulldogs.

Owen Tippett scored once and assisted on three other goals for the Spirit (38-15-5). Bode Wilde, Jake Goldowski and Nicholas Porco also chipped in.

Jan Jenik struck twice and Eric Henderson had the other for Hamilton (27-28-5).

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Stephen Dhillon stopped all 31 shots he faced while Oliver Castleman and Ivan Lodnia both scored twice as the IceDogs blanked Peterborough.

Philip Tomasino had the other goal for Niagara (36-15-7).

Tye Austin kicked out 41 shots for the Petes (26-29-3).

WINDSOR, Ont. — Justin Brazeau had a pair of goals in regulation and assisted on Matthew Struthers’s overtime winner as North Bay topped the Spitfires.

Cameron Peters also scored for the Battalion (26-27-5).

Tyler Angle struck twice and Jordan Frasca also chipped in for Windsor (24-29-7).

BARRIE, Ont. — Nolan Hutcheson and Quinton Byfield each scored two goals and an assist as Sudbury rallied past the Colts.

Macauley Carson and Emmett Serensits also had goals for the Wolves (36-17-5).

Tyler Tucker scored twice with Luke Bignell and Sam Rhodes supplying the rest of the offence for Barrie (24-31-4).

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Chad Yetman scored a power-play goal in overtime and added two assists to lead Erie over the Attack.

Mathew MacDougall, Jacob Golden, Emmett Sproule and Joseph Mack rounded out the attack for the Otters (24-31-3).

Daylon Groulx, Aidan Dudas, Barret Kirwin and Sergey Popov scored for Owen Sound (27-25-6).
